Default dji f450 quad what size battery are you guys running

so I'm building a dji f450 quad and was wondering what size of 3s lipo battery that most of you guys are running it on? I will be using the quad to start doing some fvp flying and aerial video stuff in the future. thanks for your help guys.

Most I see jump right to a 3300mAh 4S pack.
I'm sticking with 3S for now as it gives me plenty of power

would the 3s lipo on the f450 quad have enough power to carry a camera gimbal under the quad?

I too run the Pulse lipos as you can see in the signature but would love to get some 3300mAh 3S packs... Too bad all I can find that are worth a shit to me is the ThunderPower packs which I refuse to buy now.

Waiting for either Pulse or TBS to make one

I have been buying the YKS batts from here in the US (NY) and like them quite a bit...good quality and low price...http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trks...at=0&_from=R40

I have 2-3300 3s 1-5800 3s and a 5000mah 2s for my SC10 racer ($12.99 shipped)

I use 3S 4000 and 4500mah packs. My Quad weighs a total of 1.2 kg with everything.
I get 12 mins of comfortable flight and i land immediately the VMU battery indicator starts blinking red. If i ignore it, i can still fly another 3 mins, so up to 15mins in total before i start loosing altitude . I have never flown it until force landing yet.

i'm running the 920kv motors and the 8x4" props right now. but the props might change when i get my fvp gear on the quad and it gets heaiver. but I would love to get 10-15 min flight times out of the quad if possible.
what's the highest mah 3s battery that will fit on the dji f450 though?

2200 to 5800 3s are very close...just not as "Quick" with the big brick...The 3300 3s will fit inside the Cargo Bay/Battery bay on the flame wheel frame...5800 must be placed outside, underneath...(2700 4s fits inside too!)

GensAce makes a 3300mAh 3S pack so I ordered one to try out.
It's only a 25C pack but we'll see

I like the way my 3S 3300 maH lipos perform. I run two of them in parallel when I'm doing AP stuff. I strap one to the belly and one to the top deck. I'm running 10 inch Gem Fans props. I keep my timer set at the 12 minute mark with the parallel packs to make sure I have plenty of reserve power to come home safely. I run 9 minutes on a single pack,

Keep in mind that you do not under any circumstances want to discharge your lipos too much. At the end of a flight, you should have a per cell reading of 3.7 to 3.8 volts. If you go much lower than that reading, you risk damaging your lipos. You may wish to start off with shorter flights and measure your voltages to get an idea of what your lipos can take with the type of flying you do. Gather your own data because nobody else flies precisely the same way you do.

So all I can find is the following for 3S 3300mAh packs
RMRC... I'd use these for powering a ground video receiver but not power my MR.
GensAce... Hate the lower 25C rating and have one coming to test.
ThunderPower... Overpriced & had horrible US customer service with my $200 Heli packs

Any others that I missed?
Seems that to get a pack rated over 25C I'll have to try the TP's
>:0/

Just remembered TP uses a BS balance plug too... Screw that
