I guess cyclic and collective gets more responsive, but how does this 3-bladed head affect flight time?

How does the swash work, do you remove the upper rotating part and replace or add the ring to the old part?

Just set the new swash adapter on top of the existing swash. The swash adapter is milled out and fits perfectly on top of the existing swash. Use the ball links to hold in place

After converting to the 3 blade head, I am having problem with gear stripping. Stripped 2 main gears on two flights. I didn't have this problem before with the two blade.

how well did you set the pinion mesh??, i set mine so that there is a hair of play, i mean so small you cant see it, but can feel it, (i've been doing it that way for 20 years) lube the gears, did you get nicks instructions? i've been trying to get his cgy750 file but i got 6 flights on my 3 blade today tuned it fairly well

I set mine with small play. Same way as Logo. I've never had problem with the 2 blade. Is the 3 blade generating too much torque for the main gear?
I am using vbar and have no instruction from Nick.

I would assume it's wise to dial back the collective range when you add another torque lever (blade).

I am using the Scorpion 4235 with YGE 160. I used 12t the first time, but went back to the 13t for more gear contact. I think my pitch is only 12.5.
