Default logo se tail wag

Guys
I recently rebuilt my se and find that i have a slight tail wag.
Can you suggest what might have gone wrong with the rebuild?
All that was changed was the boom belt and tail fin set to the new colored version.
Thoughts welcome.
Thanks
D

Since you didn't have the tail wag before the rebuild, I would guess your issue could be the tail rotor control lever. Disconnect the push rod and feel if the control lever moves freely. You might have overtightened it or forgotten to put the washer in. Locktite on the bearing will also cause binding. Any binding in the pitch slider, control lever, links to grips will cause tail wags.

Hope this helps,

Luis

I've also found that if your tail belt is a little on the tight side, this can lead to the clicking noise - whilst if you tail belt is a little on the loose, this can create a slight wag.

Maybe worth a check.

Check your tail grips. Make sure they spin freely and grip bearings are not notchy.
