Default Good bye Belt CP

saw a 2nd hand bargain KDS550 with beast xv3 and some fancy BEC ( what does a BEC do by the way) Jumped on it, now all i have to do is mount my receiver on it and hooray!

finally think i will make progress, and not to mention the parts prices are going to drop.

Thanks for all your help on the Belt cp forum, I will try to repay the favour!

Congrats on your acquisition, Dan. BEC stands for Battery Elimination Circuit and it's just a fancy name for a power supply that provides the power to your on-board electronics (typically in 4.8-6.0V range). The name comes from the fact that in the plank world the most common power source for the electronics is a separate battery pack. In fact I use this setup on all 4 of my big helis as well, both nitro (a necessity) and electric (a choice).
