Default What plug for TT 53 Redline

I'm looking for recommendations on what plug to use for the TT 53 Redline. I'm thinking about the Enya #3 for the colder months then the OS #8 for summer months. Any thoughts or recommendations? Thanks in advance.

depends on fuel and the shim used.

If it's got the "thicker" shim installed, the motor will want a hotter plug most of the time. I'd say maybe an OS#7 in summer, and a A3 or Enya 3 in cooler months on 30% nitro.

I have installed the additional shims in the motor per the directions since I will be running CP 30%. I'm going to test this motor with the Enya # 3 plug since temps are still in the high 30's to low 40's. I will try the OS # 7 plugs in the hotter months and see how they work. I have only used #8 plugs but that was in a OS .37 motor.

hey i had the tt53 setup with the stock 1 thick shim that it came setup with, and an odonell purple i think med/hot plug running CP30% nitro.it gave a good idle and good power in about 75 degree weather toward the fall.now i got 2 shims and the same plug runing wildcat helimix 30% and rotorrage30% nitro, i have to set the high needle real fat/rich because its 38 degrees out but i normally run a med/hot OS#7 or#8, i tried the enya #3 but didnt like them plus my hbby shop doesnt carry them, they have these odonels purple plugs i really like these now that its cold, i will let you know how they hold up as it gets warmer.
