Yeah, I like them, just finished making some mods though. Had to remove the cute little face. I run a strap through that spot.
Now back to the build......

Sorry but the logo in the middle of the screen really get in the way. Can't you put something more subtle?
Other than that very cool. Thanks.

Well Trex 600 #2 is done. With the rotorworks frame, all hardware, canopy it's 3lbs 4.6oz.
I will post a pic after I clean up a bit. One thing that wasnt a big deal, but I needed to get the micro files out to clean up the centering holes to get the bearing blocks to go in. Other than that everything else fits nice. This is a great replacement frame which will allow for the larger outruners to be used. Now what to do with these alum. frames ? Now all we need is a G-10 rear servo plate and some G-10 fins ! A big thanks to Wes at Modefos Heli. He's the best !

Tickity,, strap for the gyro or what? Too bad I like that little face, maybe Charlie could move it somewhere else on the frame?

I run my RX on top and gyro underneath. Most put the gyro on top and I like to strap the gyro in on a nitro birds because the fuel weakens the DS tape. Insurance.
Here I strapped the RX in so it wont move. Yep Will, you got that right, the Neu is in the CF bird. Looks like I need an new RX pack too.

Looks nice and beefy but... would it be completely petty and shallow of me to say that I would miss the sexy CF weave?
Slave to fashion...

I run FlightPower RX packs, I can get at least 8 flights from my 1800 on my 600. I also run a Duralite 6V regulator as I had some of the momentary cutouts with the Align unit. No more cutouts now.

What would the pricing be Charley? Do you have any ballparks on that?
Also, how much lighter than the G10?

Will, Ballpark figure around $49.99 per side 1.65mm thick, weight hmm .... My guess would be around 60 grams to the 75 gram G-10

Got some flights on the new frames. Feels good. Nice and solid, with No vibes. I'm really liking these as a low cost replacement frame.
A CF version would be cool too. I will continue to run these on my practice ship keeping it simple and blingless. More pictures from the field.

They do NOT come with bearings... You have to press out the old bearings from your original frames. It's not a tuff job! Use a set of sockets and a C-clamp to press them out. It's harder to remove on the aluminum frames than the CF frames. I pressed out a set tonight for a friend in 5 minutes!

The way these are cut, you can just about fit anything in there. The Z-50 fit nice, plenty of room to show off the chrome.
