I pulled off the bottom plastic frame piece and mounted the vbar on it. Then I bolted the bottom plastic frame piece back on. That made it easier. Just take care that it will clear the CF frames. It might be tricky to plug in the USB cable. I used a blue tooth module.

Oh yeah, forgot about getting the USB in there.
Is the thrusted tail that much better? Maybe I will order that one.

With the analyzer hooked up I still got some vibes. When I took off the tail rotor the vibes were down from the 1300-1500 to around 300-500. Guess I'm order a new tail rotor.

There is no thrusted tail for the mini protos. Only the protos 500!

Glad I didn't order that. I was going to order from mSH-direct (where i saw thrusted tail) but ordered from helidirect instead only because I didn't want to use pay pal which is the only way to pay on msh. I'm having issues with Paypal at the moment. Guess I'm glad it will rain the next 10 days since I won't have the mini protos for a few days until the tail comes in.

Was the tail bent or damaged? Is that why you ordered a new one?

I think the bearings might have been bad from the many times the blades touched the ground during the lift off squat. Especially when it was spinning on the ground during setup. When I took the rotor off the shaft everything was spinning great, low numbers on the analyzer. But I have a screw that won't come out of the the pitch slider so I'm replacing that as well.

My tail rotor and pitch slider came in this afternoon and I finally got to change those parts out. Did a very short hover test after removing some of the negative pitch on spool up and it lifted off well. Much more quiet then it was previously, due to a bad bearing when I changed out pinions. If the rain holds off I look forward to flying it tomorrow. Now if only I can get my new canopy on without destroying it.

Default Weird vibe

I did not help one bit(first time I saw this thread), but I am glad you managed to fix it. Now fly the thing!
And indeed, be very careful with the canopy, I broke mine in 10 flights lol.
