"Chinese weights built in"?
I know this is often listed as a feature of the protos but I just don't see where it is...
I had the heli carefully running on the bench no main blades just tail and had the tail servo disconnected. I pushed/pulled on the tail control rod and there was a LOT of resistance. I have the chinese weight mod on my t-rex and it works great so what is going on here? I'm thinking of getting longer bolts and putting more weight on the ends so it works correctly. |

The chinese mod on the protos is the bolt/nut arrangement.
I had one on my Trex 500 and never made a difference. Are your links to the grips free of movement? Otherwise you will have to ream them.
