I have taken it on myself to start a new social group, "Scale Heli Freaks" Hope it will give us scale builders a nice place to share our experiences in building scale models and posting the fruits of our labors. Join in!

Hi right now I'm on the process of building a Hughes 500 D using the century scale body and T-REX 600 mechanics mostly the rotor is a scale 5 blade and the swash and driver are from Vario. my next will be a EC-135 with a 1600mm rotor or as my avatar show a mcculloch HUM-1 more to follow as I start to document

Scale Heli Freaks.......could be interesting. I'll have to keep an eye on this area. I'm currently working on a Vario UH 1D Huey and a Vario BK117.

You just can't beat scale.

I have a H-500D wrapped around an Evo 50, I'm starting on a Sea King (Century) and trying to decide between a Heliartist Airwolf and Augusta (USCG colors) for the T-rex.

As of last night, the Air Wold is now on order and has been shipped.
