Default 250 Spooling issue

My 250 flies fine once its in the air and flies great actually.. but the spool up is always a concern so I hope by asking you people someone may have insight.

When I spool up and hit idle up with pitch in middle, the heli is not stationary.

Tail holds fine, but the heli is wobbling around on its skids. I cannot do a smooth lift off ever.. I need to literrally just punch it up in the air.

Any thoughts what I can look at ?

I have replaced all the cyclics with new ino lab 202MGs so its not that.

Main shaft is straight.. no vibrations when I hold it in the hand while spooling

Tension on the blade grip bolts. The blades need to be equally tight.

Not really sure what you are describing. Is it an issue of the pitch not being equal in your idle vs. normal conditions and the change when you hit the switch? Or just general "twitchyness" before getting in the air?

250 size is a bit out of my experience range, but I do know that with FBL you generally want to "jump into the air" more than we all used to do with flybarred helis. The FBL corrections on the ground (when they can't actually create any correction) seem to make the heli seem more nervous. My 700s do it on the tail rather than the cyclic, but I believe that this is all pretty normal.

A trick to consider: I never fly in Normal mode, so I set my gov at HS of 1000. That does 2 things: I NEVER make the mistake of trying inverted tricks in normal mode (because I can't take off), and I can carry the heli without being in hold and then spool up at my leisure. I recognize that this is probably a little "old school" but I like the remnants of the old days of nitro. 8^) Who knows - it might help your issue..

I re did the setup and now it's ok.

I also have a sk720 in another Heli and I can lift off exact same as a fb Heli.

The 3G is def not as stable close to the ground but is good when in the air.

Not a thing changed.

But a buddy told me sometimes When the system gets impacted by a crash it loses settings.

Makes nonsense to me but it sure helped me
