Default I2rc tail hub W/grips

Anyone running this new setup? It has M2.5 bolts instead of aligns M2 size

I am running I2rc's tail grips along with aligns PRO hub. But for no other reason than bolt size thinking about upgrading this for durability.

Anyone else have one? thoughts. Thanks.

I was running the same setup as you, and loved it. But I was having some (self-induced) bearing issues, and Bob helped me out. I picked up the new hub at that time, and it's great for piece of mind. I haven't gotten to fly it much, since I crashed after only 20 flights or so, and since then, I've been focusing on my 600. I don't think it's needed, but it was only $25 if you have the grips already.

I'm running 3 of his tails, the 500, 600SX and 700 Trex. couldn't be happier. My 700 Trex DFC is the smoothest heli that I own.

I use the Pro tail hub/grips on an ESP and honestly don't see the need to replace them only because of the bigger bolts. Head speed 2800rpm
