Default 3g on a non ccpm heli??

can i use the 3g on my hawk pro?? its not ccpm.

Hey.

Yes, you can as the hawk uses mechanical mix CCPM (mCCPM).

What happens is during the DIR setup phase the 3G learns that it is not being used in a 3 servo, 120 degree eCCPM setup, but as individually controlled servos for collective, elevator and aileron.

Any problems just ask.

i was reading somewere that i have to use v2.1 for the 3g , is this right or can i use the v3 ?

Hey.

You can use V3, but myself and others now have realised that V2.1 is the better flying firmware for the 3G. Also all of the settings file I have posted are tuned for V2.1, as I briefly tried V3 but downgraded back to V2.1 when I didn't feel so happy with it.

ok ill just leave it at 2.1 and if i dont like my other 3g at 3.0 ill go back to 2.1 .
ya i have 3 3g's one on a trex450pro,, trex500esp,, and now putting one on a hawk pro thats non ccpm. and thats going into a scale body.
