Here is a corrected link.

http://www.fast-lad.co.uk/store/perk...0-p-18934.html

The main issue with this charger is that its only 200 watts. Up to 5 amps from each port. This from a charger that costs more than a Powerlab8 which as 1344 watts (40 amps). There are no accuracy, or calibration specs listed which make it hard to compare. Regardless, with its high price and uncompetitive amp rating it does not hold is own against other chargers on the market.

Perhaps its best application would be for a 450 owner who will never own anything larger and does not want to parallel charge. Perhaps such a modeler exists, but I've never met one. Sure some will say they never want to go large than 450. But check back with them in a year and they are flying a 500, 550, or 600 electric. Its the nature of the hobby.

I guess that one isn't so bad after all. Usually the ones I've seen have 1 port and limited to 50W. You would end up buying a new one soon enough so to save money you might want to get something that will last a lot longer (more capacity)... especially considering how expensive the one is in your link!

I have an iCharger 306b (1000W) and parallel cables that will be all I need.. ever. (until it breaks)

Hobbyking sells them and might be a better option for you, but you can see a bunch of great chargers on this page.

For $273.89? That's $1.37 dollars per watt. The 306b is 21 cents per watt using the actual rating of 756 watts. The Powerlab6 is 17 cents per watt.
