Default Piching up/down in fff

Hi people,
I have a 550 pro which I'm having a bit of trouble with. It pitches up and down quite drastically in forward flight when collective is added. My transmitter gains are at 60, all the other settings are back to stock. I also get a head wobble/shake when in fast forward flights when rolling, and the rolls are corkscrewing. I have tried to adjust the ff mix as per the vids but the machine does not pitch up or down on full collective climb outs.? Ive tried increasing the ff mix just to experiment and it made things worse. Also I've done all the linkage compensations. It just doesn't feel right.

I have a 700pro with a 750 on which flies well.

Any help is appreciated.

Cheers Paul

The machine does not pitch up at all if hovering and pitch pumping?

FF compensates for torque, so a pitch pump should be enough to tell if that is set right.

No it didn't pitch up or down during pitch pumps. I've taken the gyro off the model and am now trying a different one. But thank you for your reply.

Same here. My N7 with CGY750 is flying good with default setting. But my NX4 has the same situation like yours 550. I put H:30%, L:0% on ELE. Comp. Increase radio ELE Gain to 90. And it is flying good now. No more pitch up when full high pitch to climb, even fly against the wind.

My 450 Pro does the same if in ff fight or clime out. This all happen when I went from 1.3 to 1.4 I read that the angular rate is reset. So I will have to try tomorrow and reduce from 300 to??

Good fix. I had the same problem with my NX4. That took care of the unwanted elevator pull.
