WOW! Xcell 50 bergen G-10 frame survived 15 ft drop!
OK the rotor head is mostly destroyed and the plastic servo tray is cracked pretty bad. The main mast is now a permanent u shape, and thank goodness I had a Rx strong box cause it hit 3" deep into the hard dirt.
My elects all survived and the main frame just shrugged it off, and laughed at me like..."WHAT YOU GOT NOW? YOU NON FLYING WUSS!"..... Yeah well, I got your WUSS right here you stupid heli! Im gonna rebuild your sweet flyin ass!! I had a idea that this heli was tough but danm that hit shoulda killed it! 15ft up doin about 12mph and I lost orientation and nosed it striaght down 3 inches deep in the dirt! I know my CF frame xcell 50 woulda been toast! The alum framed ones might have been alright in that crash...but I dunno. I want to add some upgrade bits to it now, and how can I make this puppy a tad lighter?? what are the part #s for the alum bellcranks dual boom supports elev assy push pull kits mix arms What else would be recommended? I am traveling right now and I dont have my instruction book with me. thanks |
