Default Specs for 1300Kv motor?

Anyone come across specs for the 6S motor? Like number of poles, Khz setting. Just got one and on the can it says, MSH 40118 1300KV ... nothing more.

Assuming it is somewhere in the range of the Scorpion 2221 series motors, although there is no 1300Kv motor listed anywhere on the Scorpion site.

On the basis of this presumption, I will set it up at 6 poles and 8 Khz.

But it would be good to know for sure.

Can I check about the other specs. Including the amps drawn?

It's about a 600 watt motor. Amp ratings are not very helpful (and seemingly made up by the manufacturers), so I wouldn't put much stock in them. For the purposes of using it in a Mini Protos, the only vital bit of info is the pole count (for governor). Frequency (Khz) setting for any motor can be hit pretty close using this formula:

F = Motor Kv x Motor Pole Count x Nominal volts used / 20

Default Huh? Frequency calculation ...

That calculation applied to this motor [1300KV x 10 poles x 22.2V / 20] comes to 14,430 ... how does that work out? I have been advised it is 8kHz. Get my Protos gear from Ark RC in Melbourne, Oz. I have sent them a copy of the detailed specs from a similar motor on the Scorpion web site and Nate at Ark has sent that on to MSH with a request for them to provide similar detail on their motors. Now, as always ... we wait! MSH put out Scorpion motors under their own brand, but with the Mini Protos 6S 1300KV there is no Scorpion equivalent [nearest is a 1360KV], same apparently with the 880KV motor they put on the Protos 500. IF we get details on the motors, I will post them.

Great thanks a lot bro.

This would indeed be very helpful.

Much appreciated.

Is anyone think this motor is strong enough to do mild 3d with 3800 blades and decent rpm (i have one in stock for my new project).

That works out to 14kHz. The formula is a rule of thumb, you can try other settings and use what gives you the best balance of power, heat, and efficiency. You won't do any harm trying the various settings.
