Default Tick on aileron

Hi guys,

i'm working on my trex700 setup with 3gx. With the 3gx powered up, the bird sitting stationary on my desk, no commands given, no movement, every few minutes it gives a tick on the aileron.
You can see and hear it on the vid below at ten seconds.
I swapped servos to see if thats it but it didn't change anything.

Anybody seen this before?

Are you running the new V4.0 firmware? If so both my 3GX units does the same, it’s not a problem.

Hi, yes its on 4.0.
Why does it do that? It seemed strange to me. Does it do it in flight as well?

I've seen no glitches in flight, only on the bench.

My Hc3sx FBL makes the servos twitch on the bench, so I was kinda used to it but yes, a new quirk with the 4.0 3gx update.

Hi,
if You want it You can downgrade Your 3GX to V3.1. I fly V3.1 too without servo twitching etc. In my Version of 3GX V4.0 causes more Trouble than Advantages, probably due to the fact that manufacturing date of my 3GX 2012 or earlier. I´m afraid that there´s a difference between new and old 3GX Hardware (cause lot´s of pilots are very happy with V4.0)

Hi,

I might do that, i don't have a good feeling with seeing it glitching.
Also kinda strange that the fabrication year seems to have influence on v4.0 working good or not...

Thanks for replying guys,
