Lynchburg, VA Represent!!

Hello I'm David from the Lynchburg area. I started flying back when the honey bee king was still king. Ok to be honest it never flew that great but it did teach me everything I didn't like about helis. Moved up to a trex 450 se v2 with a logitech 2100t gyro then to a 600 trex. I still have all of those and they still fly great. I'm about to take the same step up as hbk2 to trex, what an amazing difference, now a trex to a avant mostro. I have a Scorpion HK-4525-520KV ULTIMATE in route for the heart of it. Anybody have suggestions on a good speed controller for less than 400. I will run a separate bec.

Welcome David. I have spent some time out in Lynchburg. I may even be coming out there again in couple weeks. First time out there was doing work for a large clothing retailer. The next trip will for an institution of higher learning. I just wish that US Air was not the only airline serving LYN.

Beautiful area. I imaging there are a lot of good places to fly.

You and everyone else in Lynchburg!!!

There are definitely some great places to fly here, especially if you know some farmers. I live very close to the airport, let me know if you bring a heli and want to get some stick time in.

Jive with a rx pack FTW! lol Watch the for sale threads and get a Kontronik. Jive 120s show up there from $375 to $425 sometimes.
You should give Jeti a good look too. If you have questions about Jeti, ask Seasick78. He can tell you how low of a hs it will govern properly.
