Nice flying. Very Bobby Watts-ish. Does single belt transmission mean the belt runs from the motor, to the main gear, then to the tail? That's a very interesting design. Is the first video running the single belt transmission? I notice the battery is at the bottom and motor on top unlike the cad drawing.

All the videos are o a single belt design. First video is very early in development, later we moved the battery on top.

Price should be 269 Eur including 20% vat. That is for mechanics and SAB carbon blades.

Or $300 US. I saw the thread about this on another forum, and the features are real nice! I thought the T-Rex 500 was awesome till I saw this

I wonder if they're related.

Heli looks very interesting. Wish there were close up pix to see construction and layout.

Looks surprisingly T-Rex 500ish, even though that picture was released before the T-Rex pictures came out.

This heli has most definitely piqued my interest enough to hold off buying a Trex 500 at least until some reviews come out about the MSH bird. Im just now getting into basic 3D maneuvers and am interested in both a 4S setup and 6S. What kind of flight times might I expect running a 2500rpm headspeed on 3200 4S? Also, flight times on 2x2100mah would be...?Keep in mind, not crazy 3D but not just flying around either. Im most likely going to be running either the 500L motor from the new Trex or the Hyperion Z3025 or H3025, i have no interest in breaking the bank for decent performance, but are there any other good power plants that stand out? In addition, will this heli come with a series adapter for using the 2x3S Trex batteries, i noticed that the Trex 500 makes no mention of coming with this adapter. Basically im interested in good performance with better flight times than the Gaui Hurricane 550 which this heli seems to deliver.

The 500L won't work. I think the Kv is around 1600 since the Trex has a larger main gear. The MSH main gear is 1 tooth different than the Lepton (93 or 94T), so research the Lepton power combos to get an idea.

Also check out this motor: http://www.readyheli.com/Kontronik_K.../kora15-16.htm

I bought one b/c of the price and it seems perfect for 6s. For 5s you are looking for a motor around ~750 Kv and for 4s you would want closer to 900 Kv.

Heli kits don't usually come with adapters, so you can buy one separately like here: http://www.readyheli.com/Series_Dean...p/gpmm3143.htm

The info on RCgroups in the Electric Heli Forum will answer more questions about pack size and flight times.

The design was ready 2-3 months ago. We are making last molds. Cnc is already in the house and screws and parts are here.

@Synister we will have a version with motor, it'll be 30-40 usd more than without. It is an outrunner good from 4S to 6S and will satisfy 99% of the pilots out there (motors are already in)

It looks like we are only missing plastic parts.

Looks awsome. Every thing but the plastic frame.

Wonder if they will be imported into the states.
