I can't find it in the app store or iTunes on my iPhone.

EDIT

I figured it out.
I need to download iBooks from the App store (free Apple app).
Then from within iBooks I will find your books.

Sadly you need Apple version iOS 4.2 to download and install iBooks.

Im still on version 4.1.

I can confirm that a single purchase will allow downloading to all iOS devices on your account.

In 1998 I made it 4/5 of the way through assembling an Eco 16 ARF helicopter. After investing so much, I was afraid to crash it. It still sits unused in my basement! The ease and excitement of the surprisingly good coaxial helicopters has reignited my passion. This weekend I ordered a mCP X and a DX6i. After reading this thread, I added the Phoenix simulator to my order!

While a setup and pre-flight with you would have been wonderful, just reading this thread makes me appreciate all that you have done. As a (fixed-wing) pilot and flight instructor, I understand the joy in teaching - especially getting folks to that "ah-ha" moment.

Angry The book you cannot read

Hello Jack
I have now spent 2 hours trying to buy a copy of your book, nearest i got was one they could deliver in March at a price where I think I got a share in the plane.
Amazon tells me its unobtainable.
Heli frreak will not let me PM you and tells me I do not have 1 post, still trying to find out how to get a post.
Found lesson 4 but cannot find the other lessons.
So! I spend my time crashing on the simulator and making no real progress.

Can you help please.

Best regards

John (Taunton UK)

Just a warning to those trying to buy Jack's books from I-Tunes. I DL'ed one of his books through them this morning and come to find I guess I can't read it on my PC. Seems though it's easy enough to buy on your PC it can only be read on an Apple device. $10 down the drain.

Update: I notified Apple of the issue I had and they were quick to resolve it and refund the money for the book. Thumbs up to them for great customer service.

Downside, I still can't read the book lol.

All the best, Jack - it was an immense pleasure to converse with you and enjoy (exploit?) your patience.

And I learned a great deal in my lesson as well, and try to pass on what I have learned -- and am learning -- to others.

Default eBook downloads

All eBooks from Lulu.Com are digital PDF files and require the Adobe Digital Reader software - which is provided free of charge from Lulu.Com. Almost all book publishers went to the digital PDF files because of pirating. The good news is the digital readers emulates an iPad on your PC - which is pretty slick for reading. The eBooks can also be downloaded from Barnes and Nobles for the Nook, and the iBook store for the iPad.

Default CaptJac is BACK !!!

Hangar doors opening again (to let some air in) - been gone for 2 months working on another hangar in Florida (vacation home). Only got to fly 1 time while I was there but priorities (my wife) dictated more work and less play. BUMMER!!!

Anyhow - back with my feet almost on the ground and taking right-seat again. There's a line of folks who been patiently waiting and if you be one of them sign up again and I'll bump you up to the front of the line. If this your first visit - scratch your name on this post and I'll air drop some info in your msg box.

Default Welcome back Capt Jack

I have struggled with flying rc helis on phoenix for a few months. No real progress made and generally disappointing and disheartening. Not even sure if my transmmitter and model are properly setup(Actually Im sure there wrong) I would be honored to have you as an instructor and really start to learn about this incredible hobby.. Eagerly awaiting your go ahead and the next step. Thank you for your patience and devotion to teach. I cant wait. Hopefully I will see you in Phoenix sooner than later. Hats off to you kind sir.
