G500 Tri Blade - Ikon V1 | Latest firmware

Hi all,

Running a 3 blade with 465mm mains. Ikon (not Ikon 2) with latest S/W. Bk Servos, Futaba on tail, YGE 120 LVK, Xnova 4020 / 1200 Futaba SBus. Head set up with shaft level and trimmed using the Soko - at mid and full pos / neg pitch.

Heli initialises with the 4 pumps (up down of swash).

Tuned the heli after factory reset of FBL - reprogrammed all settings and trimmed. Ikon set at 480 size (as blades are 465) - default gain settings for this size. Agility around 70

Heli is not flying well - not locked in, feels like a small heli (squirrelly), some backward left drift in hover, wants to pitch up in forward flight (without changing pitch) - changed tail drag without effect

Have previously run the 3 blade on early versions of firmware without issue.

What settings are peeps using out there

Sounds like an issue with your FBL unit.

You should post this the MSH/Ikon forum
