I was think of getting the conversion kit but I realised that the conversion kit still require to buy additional parts to make the conversion. At that price, I would rather top up the difference and get a complete kit from avant, synergy or TSA.

Anybody else working on the conversion? It goes together flawlessly and it looks like the clutch will be much easier to work on than the 700n.

I walked out to another 5 inches of that white crap this morning so it may be a week or two. I'll be sure to post a video.

I was wondering about the tail servo location. Does the COG work better with the tail servo forwar? I think it looks much cleaner that way but it will be easier to leave it stock. Recommendations?

Really depends on the version of raptor v1/v2. V1 with 695 blades is ideal and a 5000mah Lipo or similar upfront balances it out. I'm using a 5500mah pack and it's perfect. Still comes in under 10lbs with 1/3 tank of fuel. If your v2 I guess you could use a larger pack or add a little weight right in the nose to reduce any additional weight. This all depends on setup and equipment you use so will vary. Rear servo is easy and no mod setup. You could mount the servo upfront but it's a lot of work from what I can tell and not really necessary. I've ordered a gasser and that will be stock rear mounted tail servo as well. As you say these are really nice quality and fit is superb. Hope you get out for the maiden soon and let us know how you like it.

Default RMJ E700 Custom Ratio

Nick Maxwell has and is flying the RMJ Designs UK TT E700 Nitro conversion. He will also be receiving a custom 8.5 ratio for his 3 bladed setup.

Nice flying! I think we met at IRCHA this year. I was the guy flying the e700 over at the camp site. My conversion is ready for a maiden tomorrow. As soon as I mod the new trex tank that leaks from the center stopper.

What headspeed are you running in the video?

The tanks can be a pain for sure. My HS is or should be 2050. I'm using cyclones and they seem really soft around center so I wasn't getting the pop I was used to. This is the only heli I fly now
