I found the power/carb opening relationship musch the same on the G-20 as on the G-231. Consequently I found the throttle (carb) opening settings to be very much the same.

Rob,
Its easy to find your own curve... Go to 1/4 throttle, and tac your head speed to be at least within 100 rpms you plan to run...Now put the tac up, and go by the sound when you advance the collective to 1/2 stick if you are by yourself..Did it speed up? then lower that point at half stick..According to how you have your pitch setup continue till it in the air.. from hover, just do the same to high power climb out.....once you have done this, you will need to go back and make approach and noting that you are at 1/4 throttle in the approach..notice if its over speeding, if so, lower that point again till it sounds like its on a governor...With this done, if you need to change the rpm, then do it on the hover throttle knob making sure the the whole curve moves...Some radios can do this..Yours may not, but if so, it will still be close, or you can adjust each point...

Looking at the right side of the curve pass 50%, you can transfer this curve to idle up 1 pitch, and then mirror the other half of the curve below 50%....This will get you close on idle up throttle ..
