I recenly acquired a logo 600 3d.
Currently equipped with a 600mx. A tad underpowered I feel.

I have bought the 30mm motor mount to fit a 700mx.
I have upgraded the rear belt tensioner.
The heli has a quick UK tail and swash already.

Is the thicker SX main gear and pinion a must have upgrade for a 12s 700 power system?

i would say yes. But a logo 600 has more tan enough power on the 10s. you can get the 4035 540kv

If setup right, the oneway will still fail before the gear does.

Honestly, I feel the QuickUK tail is a downgrade relative to the SX tail unit because the geometry is wrong.

I run a logo 6003D non SX with a 700MX 510 on 12S. I don't abuse it but haven't been able to destroy OWB or strip the gear. Rock solid on 620's. Even flew it with 690's

I ordered the appropriate upgrades.
I hope to test it out with the 700mx this weekend.
