Default Same Adaptor plate?

Hi

Does the 140° swash kit uses the same two "Adapter plate"
(#0217-8 #0218-7) as used for the Fury??

Or is it some different plates, due to the less materiale, on the status frame, between the ovalholes near the two "Main shaft retaining Collors"?

I geuss the Framespacer between the two Bellcrank, can not beused anymore - as it looks like thebellcrank on the 140 swash is sitting right in front of the mainaxle.....

There are two pieces that bolt onto the swashplate to convert it to 140 CCPM. On my prototype model, I drilled the frame through the thin piece next to the main shaft and then glued and bolted a reinforcing plate to the inside that has a pem nut for the pivot axle. There is a drill jig included. This is VERY different from the 140 conversion for the Extreme.
MA has redesigned the Stratus side frames with the 140 pivot hole included and the area around the pivot beefed up so new kits will have the option of 120 or 140 CCPM. I have a set of frames that I am installing for testing. The original conversion has been great.

I installed the 140 CCPM conversion on my Stratus two weeks ago. It was very easy to install. However, when changing the swash setup in the radio you must start over with the setup of the heli from scratch. Changing the swash type in the radio changes everything back to default settings. I have about 20 flights on it so far and I'm definately liking the way it tracks. I talked with Tim of MA and he says he now has conversion kits in stock for the Stratus.

MA Part No. 0217-4 - 140 ccpm Stratus conversion kit.
Retail Cost $49.95

It is very likely that these kits have not filtered to the distributers yet but they are available at this time from Miniature Aircraft. 352.383.3201

A template comes with the kit. One or two holes need to be drilled in the frames.
There is no manual, this is just a couple pieces of carbon and a couple of machined arms that bolt to the swashplate.

But after converting, if we dont like, can we change back to the 120CCPm or we will be stuck with the 140CCPm ?

IT can be swapped back and forth. You have to start programming fresh for the 140 deg CCPM. So once you change to the 140 deg CCPM from the 120 deg CCPM, it wipes out the model. So it is best to program the 140 deg CCPM on a new model memory.
