Default GVR-7020 and Scorpion Backup Guard

Two weeks ago, I watched my 700N plow into the ground. Post-mortem analysis revealed that the 2s lipo must have failed, as my vbar reported voltage below 3.5v. A few hundred bucks later, and I have now rebuilt my heli and would now like to install a Scorpion Backup guard to keep the electronics alive should the lipo fail again.

I have 3 cyclics connected directly to the Gryphon and my tail and throttle to the vbar. When I power up the vbar using the Scorpion backup guard, only the tail and throttle get power, but not the cyclics, even though the Gryphon lights up as if it has power.

Is there any way to use the backup guard to power all electronics while using this setup?

huh?? Maybe I didn't explain myself the right way. If I power up via the Gryphon, everything works as it should. The cyclics, vbar, tail, and throttle are all powered up and ready to go.

However, if I plug in the backup guard directly into the vbar, only the electronics that are connected to the vbar get power...not the cyclics that are connected to the Gryphon.

Never mind! I just figured it out. I was testing it with the Gryphon switch OFF.. DUH!!!

The backup guard works and all the servos get power when the switch is ON...
