Mac Hodges B29

Many of you know Mac and it is with great sadness that I must report that Mac's B29 crashed today. Part of his show is putting the B29 into a flat spin. It never came out. Although no one actually saw the plane hit the ground it obviously hit flat which minimized the damage. Most of you know that this Mac's second B29, the first crashed more than a year ago. This time the plane appears to be reparable.

Mac was flying his plane at the Cape Coral R/Sea Hawks annual Gathering of the Giants fun fly in Cape Coral, FL. He was kind enough to make the trip down from Georgia and we are all saddened at the outcome. We hope it's up and flying again soon.

I read on rcg that the damage was minimal and that it would be back flying within a few weeks, and the saddest part about the original one that crashed was that the individual who built it for him passed away a week or two before it crashed
