Hi,

You can find some pictures here:

http://www.rcpilot.hu/gall/helikopte...trex_700e.html
http://www.rcpilot.hu/gall/helikopte...rex_700e2.html

Actually I have 25-30 flight on it. I am really happy with it.
The setup is:

4035-560
CC 110HV
11/115T
5000-5800mAH 25-40C

Extreme power and really efficient with the new 3.0 FW.
You can also find some logs among the pictures.

I have the SK360 with RJX head and Spartan gyro on my 700e and they work flawlessly. I really like this set up, and as you say, it is cheaper.

I guess Align is not going to release a stock 700E any time soon?

Doesn't seem like it which sucks seeing competitors are looking at 90 size electric versions. Come on Align, it should be a simple redesign and the demand is there for it!

Im suprised they havnt, the demand is there, meanwhile everyone including myself are buying the aftermarket conversions with great success. Looks like align is losing out on this one.

Default My 700 KDE conversion

Here is my setup:
700LE kit
HV85
Scorpion 4035-400
20 tooth pinion
KDE kit
Stock main gear

Maiden flight today
normal 1900 @ 80%
idle 1 2050 @ 90%
idle2 2220 @ 100%
This is in Fixed Endpoints of course.

My question is, can I continue to fly her this way or switch to governer mode?
Thanks in advance for your insights.

Im running the same setup on my suzi hans, scorp -400 and 85HV (I am using a 21T pinion though), running mine in gov mode (set rpm) but will be changing over to fixed endpoints like you are using now. Gov mode works pretty good. I was out at the field thursday with Matt Botos and let him try it out and he recommended to use fixed endpoints over the gov mode like he is on his E9. I am going to try that and will most likely stick with that if it truely does run better.
Problem Im running into in the set rmp mode is that when i set the headspeed at 2000 for idle 2 it gives me the red flag warning and says my ESC will be running at 103%......not cool. Im really looking to get about 2200 on the head.

That's what I'm getting as well. I'm surprised you are getting that message with the 21t pinion. That is what I was going to try next. Al Austria has posts on this forum stating he runs my setup in Gov high mode. My motor wouldn't even spool up when I tried his setup. I must have done something wrong. Thanks for your comments. Happy Flying!

Joker, could you post the ESC settings?
I'm using the very same setup you have.

That looks sweet. Of course a new frame set comes out right after I get my suzi hans setup going. My luck.

The new frame set (Suzi-Janis) will be alot more limited to get, it has a lot of work that Peter is putting into hand laying up a carbon canopy.

Cameron no worries, your is still very very nice

Thats cool. I would love to see some more pictures and flight videos especially of the canopy.

Edit: I just found Peter's website. That heli looks amazing. So much like the Rigid. http://www.3dpp.rc1.at/pages/Suzi-Ja...n.T-Rex700.htm
