The other day i tried rotortech mains and during spool down i always do small auto .5m above air. While in the air it got to certain rpm and did small dance. I went to 0 pitch and it settled on grass fine. It was scary to see it in the air!

I think the most influence to the chicken dance does have the used FBL system and then the blades.
I use Rails and the Brain. Spooling up to / down from approx 1500 on grass, concrete, asphalt ... no problem

I have had a slight oscillation while spooling up to 1200 RPM, however this only happens if I'm not at exactly zero degrees pitch...landing i switch to TH at zero pitch...never had a problem...DH711 and BD3X

I spool up and down at zero pitch on the ground, which is a combo of grass and gravel. Zero pitch may be a main factor. Using HC3SX and Rotortech SG 3D 710's. I think I'd have a heart attack if it hit me mid-air!

Same as Williams , DH711 and BD3X, no dancing chickens here...
But I need to keep it at level or +5, if i go minus pitch to break a little ,as i do with my Gobler ,it wants to wobble. Only 20 flights so far, but every one is a great pleasure |

Upgraded my Banshee to 14s...All I can say is wow!! Never again am I doing a 12s setup for her again. For those that have not done it..do it... I kept the head speed the same (2000RPM) and man the power is just insane!!
The only down side...temps do hike a little thus, summer months it might be a problem for me! Honestly, I'm not even going to try 2300 RPM...if 2000RPM feels like this with 14s I am honestly hesitant to hit IDL3
