Default DS510 Servos Vibrating During Full Throttle

Hey Helifreaks,

I'm the original owner of a Trex 500 ESP upgraded to an i2 FBL head w/a BeastX FBL controller. Heli's never been in a crash. Recently, I changed the main gear to the slant main gear w/a helical pinion. For some reason, on high throttle my DS510 cyclic servos visibly oscillate which is very noticeable during a hover as you can see the whole heli wobbling at the skids. Main blades are tracking perfectly. Prior to changing the main gear, I had the same issue w/one of the servos which I subsequently changed to a new one. Problem went away. However, now I'm getting that same oscillation on all three cyclic servos.

Anyone have a similar problem that may be able to shed some light as to how to resolve this?

Thanks in advance,
Byter182

could be a million things, what servo are you using for the tail, if its a reoccurring prob with your cyclics, could be the tail servo is causing it,

Using an Align DS650 tail servo. So where do I start looking?

As said above it could be many different things. However, are you sure the wobble is related to the servos? It sounds like to me you have a vibe somewhere. I had a similar problem on my 500. The bird would oscillate and it was most noticeable in the skids. Turned out it was a shot motor bearing.

Probably vibration related the BeastX is giving involuntary inputs to servos

Take mains and TR's off spool up, watch for involuntary swash deflections through the full collective range it should be nice and even up and down, dont move the cyclic stick when doing this.

Good idea. Will give it a try and tune back in.

Ya I would say it's probably vibration and the best x. Also could be getting interface from the high voltage side. Like having esc/batt wires ran to close to other electronics.
