I didn't realize you had the 540 clear unit. That is the only one that needs an optional governor purchase.

Make sure the software isn't set to basic by looking under Preferences/Interface/Advanced
Basic mode can lock out certain settings and functions.

It means it is being tripped. No color no activation. When it turns green it is telling you it is activated.

Mrultralite, Please try to elaborate a little more in your post and not use shortcuts - after reading many of your posts it is sometimes hard to understand exactly what you mean and you might be getting good answers but not to your questions...

omerco , thanks , only RPM 3 showed green does that mean 1 & 2 were not activated ?

i set RPM2 @ 2100 [ this is the 'old 6hv' stock 10T pin.] , and it lacked power now, so i've done something wrong, i'll go thru it again.

i set gov.w/o using wizard to save time

If only 3 is working it means your throttle curved are not set right. You need to have 0-40-40 normal, 60-60-60 st1, 100-100-100 st2: as the wizard shows...

Not going threw the wizard doesn't save time. The opposite...

Yes but you set those after setting the rpms with the th curve 0 - 100.

But here's my real question ,according to Mel calc w/ 10T my rpm should be set 1950 - 2100, but SK suggests 2200- 2500 for a 600 size , so i need a 12T pinion.

It ran fine w/o the gov.

What you see is not a suggestion-we need to tell the gyro the size of heli we are flying. Choose the size and ignore the rpm there. Use mr mell as you did to set wanted rpm's for the governor.

And again - i didn't understand the first sentence.. .sorry

You might use a 0-100 curve to adjust your Tx to set throttle end points depending on which ESC you're using.
Once done with that, no need for any throttle curve other than what Omerco has said.
If you have a 0-100 curve still, you should see the 1st. RPM setting turn green at about 40% throttle, then the 2nd. RPM setting to green at 60%... 3rd. at 100%...

1. your phase sensor is not connected/not working.
2. why is your servo bus Voltage set to 5.X? which sevos are you using (MKS?)? i would change it to at least 6V. (see picture attached).
3. tail end-points are 127/127: too much. you need to move the ball on the rudder servo horn out one hole.
