Default Walkera 4G3 Official Thread

Walkera, the #1 indoor micro helicopter manufacturer, has just released the new Walkera 4G3 CP RTF. Mine is coming from wowhobbies.com next week and I wanted to start a new thread dedicated to this very promising micro. At a couple inches longer than its predecessor, the Walkera 4#3B, the new 4G3 features 3D capabilities, BL options and a 24 gigahertz 6-channel Tx/Rx. I think the micro heli technology is fast catching up with larger scaled helis. These new micros are now basically miniture version of the Trexes, the Eflites and Gauis with lighter weight, smaller dimensions and safer blades. As we head into winter and spring, this is the time when many of us are switching more and more to indoor flying. Why not get together here and share our experiences, our knowledge and our passion for this little gem.

I was looking at the pictures and wondering if you had put an align canopy on the 4g3, then I realized the tiny little thing is sitting in the middle of the pic. daaah!

Nice flying Heli_Freak, that's the best inverted 4G3 vid I've seen yet.

Next to a 4#3B for size comparison

I think they cost 199.99. Check Sureflite.com they have some in stock. Also I think they are only sold as a whole. No bind and fly.

If you turn on dipswitch 11 on the back of the transmitter you can use the knob on the left to adjust total pitch it shows you how in the manual.
