Default Kasama Tail vs Pro hub w/ I2 grips

Window shopping today. Hearing about all these tail explosions has me thinking. I have an ESP tail assembly (black metal grips). I'd assume I have the older hub as well and only a single bearing.?

Looking to see if the Kasama Tail assembly is still available? I really like the fact that the kasama hub has threaded ends with nylocks/locknuts?

I also like the I2 grips however they use the Pro hub. Either way what's the likely hood of my ESP grips exploding in flight? I didn't know this was a real scare.

Thanks for the feedback guys

You can't find the kasama tail setup anymore.

Use the pro hub and you should be fine. I went to the I2 grips because the radial bearings would get sloppy in the align grips.

I've ordered the I2 grips, looking forward to getting them I also like the way the blades are attached with a Nylock.. Waiting on the PRO hubs to come into stock from my local online store. Im using the older hub with ESP grips. After all the reading, i don't trust them.

Kinda like that brand new Align swash I purchased with more slop than a drunk Irish man. My online dealer was super nice and returned it no problemo I ended up going I2 swash and am still amazed by the quality. I'm sure the tail grips from I2 will have amazing quality as well.

Everything I've gotten from I2rc is meticulously machined and finished. His tail grips are no different.

I run a relatively high headspeed and haven't blown a grip bolt yet. I've always used a pro hub, little bit of loctite, and snug the bolt down.

Not to say that it won't happen, it has to others, but doing the above has worked for a while.

You will be just amazed or even more when you get the performance upgrade from the chinese weight. It eases the tail servo load by a good margin.
Please do the test without any blades, spin machine at 50% throtle, tail link disconected from servo, and carefully move the link and notice the strenhgt involved.
Do the test first with your old tail then after putting the new one.
Its unreal the difference two tiny bolts per grip can make.
