I'm currently running a FlightPower RX 2S 1300mAh besides the ESC in front, but that pack is starting to get a little old, so I plan on changing it.

I will have a look at it - certainly don't want to re-do "all" my wiring...

Fair enough. I came up with that solution when I first built my SE, so everything was tailored to suit.

I will probably just go ahead order this pack, and solder on a Deans female connector. Then I will make a conversion, which consists of one Deans male connector, a piece of RX-wire, and a RX male connector, which plugs into the RX-lead that goes into the RX itself...

Also, I'm running Deans connectors on my 6S Logo 500. I've never had a issue with that, but I see a lot of people nowadays that are running bullet connectors. Should I change?

I would change to EC5. They are very cheap at Hobbyking. Very good quality and won't come apart in flight, garanteed. You need force to seperate them.

My friends Logo crashed twice because Deans disconnected in flight.

+1 EC5s are the shiznit for HV setups period, they lock in, awesome power throughput and overall the very best choice on 6S and up applications, for 6S and under the XT80s rock.

I have a lot of soldering coming... Changing them on my Logo, I might just swap them on my 6S 450 Pro as well, don't you think?

EC5's on a 450? Hell no, haha. Plus on 6S you'll be pulling only around 25-30A peak.

What plugs are you running right now?

I've started the transition from Deans to EC5s by starting out with EC5s on the batteries I have for my upcoming Atom 6HV. My Atom 500 will be next so that I can easily share the 6HV packs with the 500. Then I'll probably convert my Logo 500.

I would run EC3 on the 450.

Currently running Deans on the 450. Reason asking is because then I will have the same connectors on all my equipment, making charging easy etc.

Deans are fine, especially for a 6S 450. IMO EC5's on a 450 would be ridiculously big and unnecessary!

Ordered a set of e-Flite EC5s for my L500 last night.

As far as the 450, haven't ordered any XT60s yet, as the only place I can find them is at Hobbycity. Deans should work just as fine in this size, right?

Also, I asked this question in the Static discharge thread... Is it necessary to ground my L500 V-Stabi, and what is the best and easiest way to do so?

Currently servicing my equipment, so I have a few Qs...

The easiest way is to buy the antistatic kit from Mikado or Readyheli.

They're plenty good enough for a 450.

Hobby City has EC3's for cheap. Awesome on a 450, they aren't the same as the larger birds but look identical if looks are a concern.
