Default Change flight mode in Nano cps

Hi guys,
Just got my nano cps with a DX6. I configured the transmitter according to Arch's recommendations and then binded it to the heli.
At first i used DR of 60% which felt really lazy, it reauired to use almost full travel just to move the heli a bit.
So i moved to DR 100%. It feels much better but it actually acts like a flybar heli, when i remove the stick input the heli levels by itself.
It happens when i'm in normal mode, stunt1 or stunt2 as well.
It seems like my TX flight modes are not "coordinated with the heli flight modes, if there are any.
It fels like the heli is in SAFE mode regardless of the TX inputs.
How can i change it?
How can i configure in the DX6 a "panic recovery" button?
Thank you for the help

Mine had the same symptoms and it turned out that I was flying with the panic switch on ( I use switch a not the bind button). Check your settings or d/l the spm file from the spektrum site.

What does fhe spm file include? How do you load it?
Do you know how can I configure a panic button? (And make sure it is not on... )
Thank you

If this is a CPS, not a CPX, why not program like the manual states and go off from there?

I just saw that i missed the mixing part in the manual (Panic --> switch I \ Bind). I programmed it and will test it in few minutes.
It doesn't say anything on the safe mode enable\disable button though.
I found it in another thread.
Thanks!
