Default 690sx V2 swash separation

Noticed this after my last flight of the day today. This kit was from last year. First time I've seen this happen.

I’ve read some posts regarding swashplate separation but don’t remember if it was with this brand ..... you may want to search on the topic....

The grub screws used in the skids thread right into the swash under the balls. Identical thread. Use these to gently lock the plastic portion in the swash. Works well on my logos.

Happened on my 600sx once and happened on my 480xx constantly in the cold. My 690sx was always fine, but to be safe I added 2 grub screws. Tony, check it out.

The 480xx swash is not thick enough to use the grub screw method and still screw the balls in. Either lynx it or use epoxy as I did to keep it in place.

I did.. the 690 was tighter than we liked and had a spare lynx here already.
your 690 had absolutely no slop. just a lil tight. which is fine, but the lynx is rebuildable and danny is beating the shit out of it.. you would be proud.

I don't understand Mikado and this ongoing issue. It's so odd. Same with the the tail thrust bearings many are having issues with.

How's he like it? Always a great heli.

mikado just doesn't care. it seems their sales are good enough not to pay attention to this problem.

P.S.: I've had at least 3 Logo 600 swash plates with this issue.

Same as the tail thrust bearings many are having trouble with. Pretty sad.

I had mine come apart on my one Logo 550 around the 350th flight. Cleaned it up good with alcohol and scuffed it and it's mounting area in the swash slightly for better adhesion. Then put a very thin coat of Hysol EA9462 on it's surface and pressed it together. let it cure for 24hrs and it has been as good as new ever since. Yes it is a problem, but also a very simple and cheap fix for a heli builder / pilot.
