How does the cyclic ring option work?
Guys I have the cyclic ring option checked on my units but I've never bothered to check if/how it works. In setup mode on both my helis I get binding at extreme throws (places you should technically never that the sticks) but have no idea if the throws will be limited in flight and how I can check this.
Anyone got some experience? Should I just power up in normal mode and try max throws? |

=] Froggy, I never like to know my servo's can bind at extremes even when I don't use those movements, the SK ring is usually pretty good on mine, what you get in setup mode is actual for flight mode, swash balls correct?

I'm also not happy about it Georgi, but if I want to run the throws then this is the problem I have. I'm also not doing anything serious - +12.5/-12.5 and 9 on cyclic.
Pity there is no way to adjust it. |

My guess is the T-Rex 600Pro using the INNER cyclic servo horn holes. Left and right cyclic servo links binding against servo cases when on low collective stick and extreme upper corners of cyclic stick.

I'm getting elevator arm touching the frame on both my Srimoks - N and E. They have different frame and servo layouts but the same issue at extreme throws. With VBar I think you can set the % of cyclic ring so this won't happen.
The throws where this will happen is full positive collective plus full back elevator. Not something I ever expect to do. Been living with it but was wondering how to work around it. |

Even with my very conservative flying style i didt like the feel on the nitro, so i trimmed the frame and reset all the links to standard and can now get 12.7 at a stretch with no binding on the frame or from the swash on the t piece at full positive and full right cyclic

I have always wanted to know this too.
What exactly does the swash ring check box do? ___________________________ Sent via Android, Tapatalk. 7HV, Atom, Warp, |
