Default SK 540 throttle % and rotor speed issue

Hi Guys,

I've got a problem with the SK throttle output to the ESC. I'm using JR XG14 radio. Set 70% T curve on my tx and the rotor rpm output is 83.3% (higher rpm). It is the same as my rest 3 SKs. Before I set up the max. and min. thorttle on the last wizard, I found the live data of throttle showed 119% for max throttle and -119% for min. throttle. Should I change the throttle travel in my tx to compensate it?

Thanks,
Paul

=] Reset the scale scaling followed by min/max in the drive system.... should give you 100% travels....

Hi Georgi,

Thanks for your reply. I repeated all the set-up steps incl. centre stick and throttle endpoint, it remains the same as before. I doubt there is something between JR Xbus and SK. After the throttle was set and it displayed 0-100% on screen, the output is still the same (19% higher). It's really wierd.

Thanks,
Paul

Depends on your ESC and how you set throttle endpoints with it... once the endpoints are set and the ESC arms, at low throttle, hit "set idle throttle" move throttle to max, then hit "set max throttle". Now you will get from 0 to 100.

Georgi was refering to setting the max/min throttle travel in the drive tab (second) (just making sure...).

The important thing when you do that is DON'T use a negative Throttle Hold value for the MIN (that is what is shown in the videos) that will threw your scaling the way you describe.

Setting the MIN point you should verify is done with your Tx Throttle outputting Zero
