"what do you have to push it together then heat it and drop it in water?"

NO, It's more complicated than that. You have to heat it to and exact temperature and then cool it in oil. There are instructions available on line. My clutch is slightly sprung but I have been living with it until I can by a new one or try to fix my old one.
Most likely your clutch was overheated sometime. Maybe in a crash?

Well then the Trex 600e canopy might fit because I run one of those on my Gohbee/Raptor!

Default caliber 30 throttle/pitch curves

Hi folks
I know this is a really old post, but I got a caliber 30 in april in an auction, my first nitro heli, and have had great fun with it, no crashes, but am struggling a bit to get the best out of it for mild 3d work.
Using a dx6i and 6ch rx with satellite, no governor.
CCPM mixes are giving max/min pitch 10 degrees and the cyclic throws are all on 125%(max for dx6i) with some expo to soften it.
However I mix the throttle/pitch curves I seem to either over rev or bog the engine, has anyone got a 'best you can do' with this heli set of curves I can try out? I know it's underpowered with the os32 sxh engine in it but I just want to make sure it's not just the set up before I resign myself to having to get a better heli to move up the scale.
It seems ok with aileron rolls and aileron to inverted, tail flips not bad, nose flips a bit sluggish, and stall turns ok but seems a bit slow in forward flight for decent loops...I have the wooden blades on and have considered carbon, if it's worth throwing a bit of cash at the problem. No tail issues at all with csm gyro. Fuel is optifuel 20/18.
any suggestions helpful
David

I had to go to thirty percent and a better pipe to get power for spirited sport flying with the 32.
Also, carbon blades do help.

Is there a Japanese site where I can get parts from. I don't need any parts at the moment but I would like to get a few spares together for when the inevitable happens, thanks for your reply by the way

There is a Japanese site but i can't remember the name and I lost the link when my last computer died. If I come up with it I'll post it.
You probably can find it by searching on this site.

Default Caliber 30

Hello,
I have been flying Caliber since 2010 and must say it is a very stable machine. I fly normal circuits and are not interested in aerobatic flight. I have fitted a Webra 35 which runs great without nitro at all as it is constructed for it! To power it up a Zimmermann silencer was fitted. Got the rotor speed about 400 revs up with that one. I had to break that with the curves. Great 30 class helicopter. It has been my testbed for some time now as I learned to fly it without simulator.
I use Multiplex servos and receiver and the very basic Futaba GY401 gyro. Seriously, it doesn´t need to be more complicated than a 401! Happy flying.

Brgds,
Magnus
