Default New to Futaba.

Hey guys, looking for some guidance. Liking to pick up a 14sg to replace my aging JR. I'm not well versed in setup using the full RX with my SK so looking for some help in how to properly setup this thing...

So with the supplied 7008sb rx, what is the correct way to set this up? Running 3x 451s, hbl 880 tail, and a KO Propo throttle servo. Tied into my SK540.

Do I need anything special to set this up? Not sure on sbus setup.

Thanks,
Eric

If you fly EP power you will want the Futaba External Voltage Input Cable so you can monitor the battery pack voltage in flight.

With the SK540 you need to configure the R7008SB to Mode B and use the S.Bus port (not S.Bus2). I have a SK540 set up that way and it works great.

Thanks Mike.

So no issues with the std 7008 rx setup for sbus? Just a plug a play setup?

I'll be flying nitro with my newest build.

Thanks again.

No issues if you change it to Mode B, It comes with Mode A and that won’t work.
