Friend's 700 at sunset and then I did a little masking magic to make the canopy pop, the colors weren't edited and it's sharp enough to make an awesome iphone wallpaper even zoomed in all the way

Build going really well! Head, tail, gears, and servos (3) in place. Just waiting on the postman for battery connectors.
I am really impressed with the quality and precision of the model!!!

Build complete! IKON is defective...Amain is shipping a replacement overnight at almost no charge. Impressive customer service!

What was it doing? I just had issues today with a new one. It seemed to be locked onto whatever RX type it was tested with. (Sbus) most likely because there is no binding to set, But after switching it back and forth between other types I finally got it to switch to standard RX.

It powered up, lights flashed, but the computer couldn't see it. I tried everything...either corrupt software or the usb connection was bad.
Usually they open right up and update the firmware when you first plug in. Didn't even get the windows chime.

Yes mine also took a long time to upload the usb driver and then I found you had to exit the program and restart for it to look again. I must've done it about 10 times and was going to search for drivers when I finally saw the finished uploading drivers at the bottom. Exited and restarted and all was a go.

this was with windows 7 64.

Interesting. I plugged in at least 10 times, nothing. I plugged in another IKON and it detected immediately so I assume the drivers are there. Windows 10.

New unit arrived from Amain. Plugged in booted right up and worked perfectly.

Here is my 70% finished Mikado 690 sx v2 it made my goblin 570 looks small not really by far but it is definitely noticeable.

Awesome! I too have a g570 but am still trying to decide between a 690sx and 770. Any more side by side pics? How is the build and parts quality between the two?
