So you replaced the switch with a wire.
And when you power things up the wire gets hot.

Switch the 2 PS.
You need to ungrounded PS on the left in your picture.
Try that.

Did it now the right one is the cable is getting hot

Did you slip an insulator under where you removed the screws from the PC board?

Lets do some continuity measuring.

Un-plug the power cord from both PS, separate them.
Cut or disconnect the wire connecting them together.

Set your meter to 200 ohms (the funny symbol)

On each PS touch one lead to the case and the other to the negative terminal.
What do you get?

Ok the ground one says 00.6
The unground one ( the one with out the screws) it dosen't do anything no reading

Well that is what you are suppose to see.

So you have it wired where the + from the grounded PS is connected to the - of the ungrounded PS?

Yes. And from the ungrounded + I use that for the positive cable for the charger. And the the - cable that is going to be use also for the charger is solder on the - area grounded PS. The positive are from the grounded PS is touching the - area of the ungrounded one.
