Default Poor Man's Swift Setup

I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea what I can expect from this setup? It's one of the setups Century offers:

Hacker A30-8XL BL Motor
Castle Creations 45HV ESC
11T Pinion
Century 3600MAH NiMH 12 cell
28A Battery OR make my own 16 cell (pinion?)

Since I'm a nood to the heli scene (converted plank flyer)I'm not looking for a 3d setup!!! I just ordered and expecting my G3 sim to be showing up anytime now. I figure if it will help me get used to the way the heli flies and saves me from crashing the first time out then it will be well worth the price it cost.

It will fly, but I would go for lipo battery. Longer flight times due to less weight.

It may surprise you how well it flies. But on a 4S1P Lipo pack it will even be better.

A local is flying the Hacker with a Centuey 55 amp esc and the 4S1P/3700 packs and does some pretty serious 3D with it (including pir-flips). The next time I catch him at a fun fly I will try to get some video of it.

Got the same setup with 4cell lipos. I changed the pinion from 11 to 13 tooth, it doesn't seem to drain the battery much more, but got nice headspeed, and is mild 3d capable

Anyone could put down the numbers (costs) for this 'basic' set up?
Just wondering what heli to upgrade to next...
Thanks.
