Are they here yet? Are they here yet? Are they here yet? I feel like a little kid waiting for a present at Christmas. Pleeeease, if I get a shiny new pipe I promise to take care of it all by myself and everything.

Do you have weight specs on the engine and pipe? I really like the idea of the KME but am not too fond of hanging a huge 90 size pipe off the side of my heli.

Anyone tried a Funtech B320 on a KME?

The KME .60 pipe weighs only 189 grams same weight as the MP3. Its not a 90 size pipe that has been a real misunderstanding in the industry. The KME .60 engine has the Typical 60 size pipe mounting so you cant run a 50 size pipe but any 60 size pipe works.

The KME pipe is going to Retail for $129.

We have tested this pipe back to back with every other pipe out there for 3 straight weeks and there is a noticeable difference in power.

Thanks for the super fast reply. Do you have the weight specs on the engine as well?

Yes I can help anytime I look at Helifreak about every hour to answer questions.

The KME .60 weighs in at 16.4 oz or 464 grams. Also keep in mind its a 60, so piston is bigger and rod is a little larger.

Great, thanks for the info. It's around 80g heavier than my powertrain now but I have no idea the power will more than make up for it.

Great timing. My servos will be here Friday and I will be starting my build. Well, unless the weather is nice. Then I'll be going flying.

Hello all,

i'm about to buy a new motor for my vibe 50. Till now i thought that i'd purchase new os 55 motor, but theh i saw this thread. Now i dont know what to do.

a) Does this motor (kme .60) fit in vibe 50?
b) If you were to decie, which one would you take, os 55 hz or kme 60?
c) I saw the new carb, but it still has "just" 2 needles. Is this dissadvantage compared to os 55 with 3 needles?
d) Does this motor consume more fuel then the other 55, 56,..motors?

That would be all for now, thanks in advance
Best regards, Matija

Matija,
Thanks for the interest.
Yes the KME will fit the Vibe 50 perfectly.
It has the same run time as any 55 or 56 we get the same run times as a 50 in most cases.
The way our carb is set up you dont need a 3 needle. We tested a 3 needle when we produced our KME carb and there was no real noticeable difference. Most consumers love the ease of our carb when tuning.
I hope I helped

Hey,

thanks for the answer. Now i'm checking the pipes that fit the motor. I noticed that no europen store carries your pipe, or am i mistaken?

Is this the muffler that you said on your site as Outrage 90 XL? http://www.fast-lad.co.uk/store/outr...**-p-6683.html
How much power does this muffler gives to motor in comparison to hatori sb 18?

Oh and also this, how does it look longer muffler on 50 model? I'm also afraid that the muffler wil bump to the canopy. Is this possible with outrage pipe?

Will i need any modifications on my vibe in order to proper instal this motor+ outrage pipe?

I have seen that some people said that 600mm blades dont do nice with this motor, is that true, will i have to change also blades now?

If i want to run 30% nitro with it, will i have to use 2 Base Gaskets in order not to burn glow plugs every flight? If so, can i use OS gaskets?

Some guys said that they are running zimmerman 60 with this motor. Is this a good choice? It is supposed to have more back pressure and it's lighter.

I would really recommend the KME PowerHouse .60 pipe I just sent 12 to World of helis in Germany they should have them late next week.
We tested all pipes Back to Back with the KME .60 pipe for 3 weeks straight it really makes increased power.

Yes. I thought I might as well get 2 sets due to shipping costs. I used the nut and washer off my OS 55 AX.
