Quick question: On a 600 on 12S, theory is you should use 2500Mah, is that correct?

Could you use 2 6S 2650 in series for example from a 500 heli and use the same batteries in 4 to get 12S 5300 for a 700 (2 in parallel, in series with another 2 in parallel)??

I flew my ESP on 6S 5000, and understand the config goes 8S 4000, 10S 3300, 12S 2500.

Thanks, Marcos

I was running 12S in my 550 using two 2500mah packs and got about 4:30 and Charley was trying out 3000mah packs in the fusion and got about the same but he also tried 3300mah packs and it wasn't as hard on the packs. As for the use of 4 6S packs in a 90... If you are going to use packs in series they should really be kept and a mated set and always charged and discharged as a set! I really don't think the use of 4 6s pack in a 90 would be a good idea but you can always try it.

Can anyone tell me if the fusion 600e is going to have a torque tube tail?

From the vid it looks like a TT, no belt wrapping around the mainshaft.

Sorry.. I meant they are almost equal.. but probably cheaper since the 550 never bends main shafts. My first hard crash was $38... (using $18 FG blades)

Here is my data... seen this crash cost thread?

I did on my first crash that shows how hard the impact was.. yet the total price to fix was $38!... I'll never get over how low that was.
