just add to that I realise now when I turn the blades while holding the body, the main gear dont move looks like the bearing is spinning on itself inside the main gear, is that normal? or do I need to change the main gear?

I don't think there is a bearing inside the main gear on these helis.

There should be 2 retaining pins, one that goes through the bottom of the main gear to secure it to the bottom of the shaft, and another at the base of the plastic bit on the top of the shaft, securing it at the top.

I would check if one of these pins has fallen out or broken

Do you mean you've taken a screw out of the feathering shaft and you can't pull off the blade grips?
If so they should come off so long as one of the feathering shaft screws has been removed, only done it once but I think I had to pull quite hard on the blade grips before one popped off
