whats up guys? is the hiller gain and cyclic gain the same thing?

No. Hiller gain is no longer available as it has been integrated into the over all cyclic gain. Cyclic gain is the over gain of the combined cyclic parameters. That is if yer on 4.0. If u are on an older version then hiller gain is an individual type of gain and cyclic is over all.

Just to make things clearer - the total cyclic gain is not a gain by itself.

In older versions we had access to Hiller and Damping gain (and there are more which we can't see). The total gain is a number in % which is multiplied by the Hiller and damp #:

Example:
50% total
60 Hiller
18 damp

Flight gains:
Hiller=0.5*60=30
damp= 0.5*18=9.

Hiller and Damp are set to 50/15 today, So changing your total gain will have the same effect on the flight gains.

there was also a sticky in the past called "gain relationship" but i can't find it...
