finally had someone take a video of my protos! just enjoying blade farting! very rusty fingers, but still pulled off my so far lovest inverted hover on protos! and in the end a botched auto.. :/ seems like no damage, just slipped belt...

If you auto straight down you are going to need quite a bit of negative pitch. It will almost race to the ground, and catching it semi-slowly will have a flare like effect and bring up the headspeed. Also try accelerating downward before hitting TH to keep headspeed up.

It is scary, but autoing from forward flight is much easier. Nice to see someone working consciously on autos though. An important skill and trick.

actually im not really "working" on them... it was my 3rd consious auto in my life! on a sim i can auto any 700 in any way... just that particular field is a bit too small for me to feel safe in forward flight...
