Default I'd like to request a favor....

I intend to cut out a pair of rear canopy breakaways for my 6HVU. I have everything I needed (wasn't much) shipping (opted to order a 7HV boom, and like Gimpy suggested, cut and notch to fit the 6HVU). The breakaways on my machine were very destroyed in my crash a couple of weekends ago.

I believe the rear breakaways are right angular in shape, with (2) 2.5mm holes where they mount to the frames, and a single 3mm hole for the standoffs. I could make them if I simply know the hole spacing. Could someome take the measurements and reply back?

Thanks in advance, guys.

I made the break away mounts tonight. Worked perfectly. Not much that can't be done with a Dremel! Thanks again, Tomy!

make some more! i always seem to tear them up. i use a piece of carbon from a synergy kit in its place...but it only attaches to one of the frame screws

Hahahahah! These were not exactly production parts. You can't tell looking at them on the heli that they are hackers, but when I remove them you can. Also, they are thicker carbon, so might break the frames. It would be better for someone who has a machine to cut several. Mine were very crudely made...Dremel cutoff wheel, hand drill, paper template.
