Default Remove paddle bar from "cage"

Hello guys,

I need to renew the head hub, so I need to remove the paddle bar from the cage.
I unscrewed the weights from one side, but I see that the bolt from the weight has been screwed into the plastic and the plastic now "locks" the paddle bar. I cannot remove the paddle bar.

Is this normal? or just shitty design?
How can I remove the paddlebar otherwise?

Thxxxx
